The newly launched OnePlus 13 high-end phone has created a fever in the Chinese market with more than 100,000 units sold in just 30 minutes. This is considered a resounding success of the flagship celebrating the 10th anniversary of the OnePlus brand.

Li Jie, President of OnePlus China, said that the initial sales results of OP13 exceeded expectations. More than 100,000 orders were recorded in just 30 minutes of the launch, breaking the previous sales record of OnePlus flagships.
Although the price of OnePlus 13 (12GB + 256GB) has increased slightly compared to the previous generation, users are still excited to welcome the product. Explaining this, Mr. Li Jie said that the smartphone usage cycle is getting longer and longer, users tend to invest in higher quality products.
"Our top priority is to create great products," Mr. Li Jie emphasized. OnePlus focuses on a reasonable pricing strategy, ensuring product value instead of racing to reduce prices to increase market share.
OnePlus' president also explained the increase in the price of the OnePlus 13. Accordingly, the production cost of the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chip along with the sharp increase in memory prices has affected the product price. "This is a common pressure that every smartphone manufacturer has to face," he added.
OnePlus 13 is expected to be launched in the global market soon. Many sources say that OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will officially "hit the shelves" in January 2025. Meanwhile, OnePlus Ace 3 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is expected to be introduced in December and may be renamed OnePlus 13R for the international market.
