A new leak has revealed that the iPad Air - Apple's mid-range tablet line - could be upgraded to a 90Hz display next year. This information comes from an anonymous source who spoke to the Upgrade podcast.
The low-cost iPad Air will get a major screen upgrade next year.
Currently, the iPad Air uses a 60Hz display, while the iPad Pro is equipped with a more advanced 120Hz ProMotion display. Upgrading to 90Hz will make the iPad Air have a smoother experience, narrowing the gap with its "senior" iPad Pro.
The source also said that this 90Hz screen technology will be applied by Apple to the 24-inch iMac and Studio Display in the future, possibly in 2025.
