The name of the phone was indirectly revealed on Weibo through a post by vivo brand director Jia Jingdong as he welcomed a new brand ambassador.

The director introduced Zheng Qingwen, a tennis player and gold medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Zheng is the first Asian woman to win this prestigious title.

Weibo usually reveals the name of the device used to post, and in this case, Jia Jingdong used the Vivo X200 Pro mini.

The mini version of the Vivo X200 series will likely sit between the standard and Pro versions. According to GSMArena, the mini version will be similar in size to the standard X200 model but will feature the hardware of the X200 Pro, including a high-end display and a top-of-the-line chipset. According to a leak, both the Pro and Pro mini models will feature the new LYT-818 camera sensor.

Developed by Sony using a 22nm process, the LYT-818 sensor measures 1/1.28 inches, will have a higher SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) and consume less power.

The Pro models will likely use the Sony IMX882 sensor for the main camera and the Samsung ISOCELL HP9 for the telephoto lens. Additionally, the X200 Pro mini model will likely feature an IMX921 sensor for improved ultra-wide-angle photography or in special situations.
