Realme GT7 Pro is coming with Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 50MP camera and 6,500 mAh battery, promising outstanding performance.

October this year has seen an explosion of smartphone brands in China, with many new devices about to be launched. Recently, Realme has confirmed that its flagship GT7 Pro will be introduced this month, according to Gizmochina.

The Realme GT7 Pro is touted as a premium product with a powerful combination of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, manufactured on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, and a periscope telephoto lens. According to Realme China President Xu Qi Chase, this configuration promises to deliver outstanding performance and impressive photography capabilities, worthy of the reputation of the GT series.

Realme has also released the packaging image of the GT7 Pro. According to reports, the smartphone will be equipped with a 1.5K resolution screen customized by Samsung , supporting a comprehensive DC dimming solution and advanced eye protection technology, making it more comfortable for users to use. It will also be Realme's first phone to feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen.

In terms of camera, the GT7 Pro will have a square camera cluster with three lenses: a 50 megapixel LYT-700 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 megapixel super wide-angle lens and a 50 megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

In terms of battery life, the GT7 Pro is equipped with a 6,500 mAh silicon battery, supporting 120W fast charging. The new battery technology not only increases the capacity but also helps reduce the overall thickness of the device, making it more compact than its predecessor. The device will run on Android 15 operating system and Realme UI 6 interface, and meet IP69 water and dust resistance standards.

The image above shows details of the charging capabilities of an upcoming Realme 5G phone, identified by the model number RMX5010. The phone's charger, labeled VCBOACH, supports two different output configurations.

The first configuration provides 5V DC at 2A, equivalent to 10W, or 5-11V DC at 7.3A, delivering a maximum power of 80.3W. The second output configuration also supports 5V DC at 2A (10W) or 5-11V DC at 11A, delivering a maximum power of up to 121W.

According to previous leaks, the Realme GT 7 Pro may only support 100W charging, even if it comes with a 121W charger. Previously, the Realme GT 5 Pro model launched in December 2023 was also found to use a similar charger. However, the device also only supports 100W charging.

Reports suggest that the Realme GT 7 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO OLED display with a slightly curved design on all four sides. The display will have a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will run on Realme UI 6 based on Android 15.

Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to use a 6,000mAh carbon silicon battery. The front camera of the device will have a resolution of 32 megapixels, while the back will have a 50 megapixel main sensor with OIS support, along with an ultra-wide lens and a 50 megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.

Inside, the GT 7 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Other features expected include an IP69-rated body, a metal frame, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor integrated under the display.
