The rear camera of Redmi Note 14 Pro will have a new and quite unique design, unlike the previous generation.
According to 91mobiles, the Redmi Note 14 Pro was recently spotted on the BIS certification website, suggesting that the device could be launching in India soon. The design of the phone has now been leaked, giving a clear look at the back panel and a change in the camera module.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro render shared by TechBoilers shows that the camera module has been redesigned quite uniquely. The image shows that the camera is now in the middle instead of on the side like on the Redmi Note 13 series. The frame where the cameras are located is also slightly curved and rounded on both sides, not as sharp as before. This module is designed quite large on the back of the device with 3 cameras and a flash.
The render shows the power button and volume keys on the left side. The Redmi Note 14 Pro in this leaked render is black.
This design is similar to what was previously leaked about the Redmi Note 14 Pro so this change could be true.
These details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro will be confirmed soon as the smartphone series is expected to launch as early as September. Since the Redmi Note 13 series launched in China in September last year, its successors could also launch around that time.
The Redmi Note 14 is expected to come in three models including the standard Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro Plus. All three versions will feature a 1.5K AMOLED display, which will be an upgrade over the standard model as the previous model featured a 1080p display.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, while the Pro Plus model will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chip.
The Redmi Note 14 is also said to upgrade fast charging from 33W to 45W. Leaks suggest that the Note 14 Pro will pack a 5,000mAh battery, down from the 5,100mAh battery on the Note 13 Pro. The Pro and Pro Plus models will feature a 50MP camera.
According to leaked information from the Digital Chat Station account on Weibo, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is expected to no longer use the 200MP main camera like its predecessor. Instead, the device will be equipped with a larger 50MP sensor, promising to bring better image quality.
The 200MP camera on the Redmi Note 13 Pro will no longer be on the successor.
In addition, the Redmi Note 14 Pro will have a "1.5K" resolution screen similar to the Note 13 Pro, a "slightly curved on both sides" screen design, and no periscope zoom camera.
