The upcoming iQOO 13 will be equipped with a high-capacity battery and impressive fast charging technology.
A new trend these days is that more and more smartphones are coming with large batteries, 6,000mAh or more. A recently launched mid-range phone, the Vivo Y300 Pro, has a 6,500mAh battery, and the iQOO Z9 Turbo+, which is expected to launch this week, has a 6,400mAh battery. A recent leak has revealed that iQOO's upcoming flagship phone will also have a large battery, according to Gizmochina.
A Weibo post by reputable leaker @Digital Chat Station has revealed that the upcoming iQOO phone will be equipped with a 6,100mAh battery, using two battery cells and supporting 120W fast charging technology. Although the source did not specify the device name, it seems that the phone in question is the iQOO 13. Previous reports have claimed that the device will support 50W wireless charging.
Previously, the source revealed many details about the iQOO 13. Accordingly, the phone model will be equipped with a custom-designed flat OLED panel, providing 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Inside, the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.
The rear camera setup of the iQOO 13 is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it could feature a 16-megapixel front camera.
The iQOO 13 will run on Android 15 based on OriginOS 15. It is expected to come with other features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal mid-frame, a Halo light strip, and an IP68-rated chassis. It appears that the top-end variant of the device will come with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The iQOO 13 will launch in India in early December at a price of around Rs 55,000.
