HMD Global, the company behind the Nokia phone brand, is reportedly preparing to launch a successor to the budget HMD Aura. Information about the upcoming HMD Aura 2 has surfaced online through a post by tech leaker @smashx_60 on social network X, revealing some important upgrades, according to Gizmochina.
The Aura 2 is expected to feature a slightly larger 6.56-inch LCD display and a faster 90Hz refresh rate than its predecessor. In terms of cameras, the device will feature a dual-camera system on the back, consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 0.8MP secondary camera. The front camera has also been upgraded from 5MP to 8MP.
Inside, the Aura 2 will be equipped with a more powerful UNISOC T603 processor, combined with 4GB of RAM and optional 64GB or 128GB of internal memory. The phone will also have a microSD card slot for memory expansion, audio port, USB-C port and OTG support. In addition, the device is also dust and water resistant to IP52 standards.
