YouTube channel REWA Technology today posted a video introducing the iPhone 16 Pro, providing the first look at the internal design of the device right when it goes on sale.
Judging by the video, the new product gets a 3,582 mAh battery (the iPhone 15 Pro has a 3,274 mAh battery) housed in a metal case, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max's battery is wrapped in black foil.
Apple previously revealed that all four iPhone 16 models will feature internal design changes to improve heat dissipation. The video shows that the iPhone 16 Pro's body has a larger metal plate to help dissipate heat compared to the iPhone 15 Pro. Internally, the battery is encased in metal, which may also help improve heat dissipation.
The iPhone 16 Pro battery has much better capacity than the iPhone 15 Pro.
Users can also see in the video that the iPhone 16 Pro has a slightly smaller motherboard than the one on the iPhone 15 Pro, along with some other layout changes.
The iPhone 16 series has now started to be sold in some countries, Apple's number 1 priority market. In Vietnam, retail stores have also accepted pre-orders for the product since September 20 before officially opening for sale on September 27.
Additionally, tipster Majin Bu has posted schematics of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Plus, and iPhone 16.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is expected to have a 4,676mAh battery, up 254mAh from the iPhone 15 Pro Max's 4,422mAh battery. This is not surprising since the phone will increase its screen size from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches. Majin Bu also said that due to the new design, the phone will no longer have an L-shaped battery.
The iPhone 16 Plus may have a smaller battery than its predecessor. Rumors suggest the phone will have a 4,006mAh battery, which is slightly smaller than the 4,383mAh battery on the iPhone 15 Plus. However, the phone may still have the same battery life as the 2023 iPhone 15 Plus because it has a more efficient chip based on the N3E process.
And finally, the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 will increase from 3,349mAh to 3,561mAh.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to have the same screen sizes as the current iPhone models - 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. A recent rumor suggests they will have a vertical camera array and inherit the iPhone 15 Pro's Action button.
The new iPhone lineup will have a dedicated Shutter Button to give it a camera-like feel. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a telephoto camera with a periscope lens, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a super periscope telephoto camera.
Finally, Apple will also be bringing advanced Artificial Intelligence - AI features to its new phones to better compete with the high-end Android phones currently on the market.
