According to 9to5Mac, here are 5 new features not to be missed on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
Apple launched the iPhone 16 lineup last week with gorgeous new colors, a new camera button, bigger batteries, and Apple Intelligence support. Let's take a look at some of the smaller, notable features on the standard iPhone 16 duo.
1. Faster charging
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus charge faster than ever, both with MagSafe charging and USB-C. With the iPhone 16, users can take advantage of 25W MagSafe charging and up to 45W wired charging with USB-C.

That's much faster than previous iPhone models, which could only charge up to 15W with MagSafe and up to 30W with USB-C. If charging your iPhone is an important feature, the iPhone 16 is worth the upgrade.
2. Lower minimum screen brightness
Apple’s latest iPhones now support a much lower minimum brightness of just 1 nit. If you’ve ever turned your iPhone’s screen brightness all the way down late at night and still found it too bright, the iPhone 16 should solve that concern.
3. Macro photography

Although the feature was originally introduced on the iPhone 13 Pro in 2021, macro photography has never been great on the standard iPhone. This year, the iPhone 16 has a newer ultra-wide camera that allows users to take better close-up photos.
4. Faster Wi-Fi
All new iPhone 16 models support Wi-Fi 7, which offers faster Wi-Fi speeds to users, provided they have the right internet speed and router.
Wi-Fi 7 supports speeds of up to 46 Gbps, which is 5 times faster than Wi-Fi 6E's 9 Gbps. Wi-Fi 7 also operates on 320 MHz channels and supports the 6 GHz band, which significantly reduces signal interference and congestion.
5. Space Photography & Video
Finally, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus support for Space Photography and Space Video for the Apple Vision Pro glasses. Apple introduced Space Video on the iPhone 15 Pro duo last year, but this is a new feature for the standard iPhone 16.

Additionally, the ability to capture Spatial Photos on the iPhone 16 also allows users to capture photos with depth data, making photos come to life when viewed on Apple's new mixed reality device.
