Sony launches all-new ULT Wear wireless headphones, 50-hour battery life

Users can connect the headphones to the Sony Headphones Connect app on their smartphones to customize advanced features.

Sony has just launched the ULT Power Sound music product line, including speakers and headphones integrating many new technologies. In particular, the ULT Wear noise-canceling wireless headphones are the first product of the ULT Power Sound line to be sold in Vietnam.

ULT Wear has a driver designed specifically for the ULT Power Sound line with a speaker membrane of up to 40mm. The product has an ULT button to help users adjust the sound quality to their liking. This button has 3 modes, including ULT 1 (enhanced bass level 1), ULT 2 (enhanced bass even deeper, level 2) and OFF mode.

Users can connect the headphones to the Sony Headphones Connect app on their smartphones to customize advanced features. In particular, the Clear Bass feature on the app also allows you to customize the bass without affecting other sound ranges, and the sound is not distorted even when the volume is increased.

With voice recognition technology and beamforming microphone, the headset's call quality will be loud, clear and detailed. The headset can be paired with two Bluetooth devices at the same time using multi-device connection technology. Thanks to that, when a call comes in, the headset will recognize which device is ringing and automatically connect to that device.

“Quick Attention” mode is also available on the ULT Wear headphones, so users can listen to announcements or say something briefly, by placing their hand on the right earbud to quickly lower the volume and listen to the surrounding sounds. Or with “Spotify Tap”, users can quickly play music from the Spotify app, by tapping twice in quick succession on the right earbud.

In addition, ULT Wear also brings together other exclusive Sony technologies such as Hires music listening with LDAC technology, DSEE technology to help reproduce clear sound and bring a vivid surround sound experience with 360 Reality Audio technology.

ULT Wear has a battery life of up to 30 hours with noise cancellation on, and can be used for up to 50 hours with this feature off. The headphones also support 3-minute quick charge for up to 90 minutes of use. In particular, ear sensors help detect when the user takes it off/puts it on to pause or start playing music.

Samsung Galaxy Buds3 revealed new design with protruding stem very similar to Apple's AirPods and ready to launch next week.

According to GSMArena, the leaked retail box image of the Galaxy Buds3 has confirmed a major change in the design of this wireless headset line: the appearance of a protruding stem. This is the first time Samsung has applied this design to the Galaxy Buds product line, marking a notable turning point since its launch in 2019.

While this design may be controversial and compared to Apple's AirPods, it also brings significant improvements in sound quality. With the microphone placed closer to the mouth, the Galaxy Buds3 promises to provide a better call experience than its predecessors.

In addition to the new design, the Galaxy Buds3 is expected to be equipped with active noise cancellation (ANC) technology and many other attractive features. Samsung is expected to officially launch this product at the Unpacked event on July 10.

The change in the design of the Galaxy Buds3 has created many mixed opinions in the user community. However, it cannot be denied that this is a bold move by Samsung to improve the sound experience and compete with rivals in the wireless headset market. Whether the Galaxy Buds3 is successful or not, let's wait and see the detailed reviews after the product's official launch.
