The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim foldable phone will have some significant upgrades from the first Z Fold 6 and will be launched soon.

According to Sammobile, there are many signs that Samsung wants to release the second Galaxy Z Fold model this year. This mysterious folding screen phone has been the subject of many rumors in recent times. But now, the phone has been revealed with the name Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim.

A source from GalaxyClub has uncovered the first camera details that are said to be related to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. And on top of that, more details about the launch date have also emerged.

According to the latest information, Samsung will equip the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, with the code name Q6A, model number SM-F958N, with a 10MP front camera on the outer screen, while the rear camera cluster will include a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

There are no details about the main and telephoto cameras at the moment, but interestingly, sources say the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim could debut the most significant under-display camera (UPC) upgrade ever.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim could feature a 5MP UPC, up from the current 4MP used on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The device, which is only 10mm thick when folded, is likely to be released in select markets only. There's no confirmation yet on whether the phone will be released in markets other than South Korea and China, nor in Europe or the US.

According to the latest report by The Chosun Daily, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will be officially launched in South Korea on September 25. The device is expected to cost around 2.8 million won (about 52 million VND).

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will be thinner than the regular Fold 6 but will have a larger display, meaning a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch inner folding display.

According to Gizmochina, the Z Fold 6 Slim could be the first foldable phone in the Galaxy series to use titanium for the back. In the current Galaxy Z Fold models, Samsung uses carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) for this part.

Titanium is known to be both strong and light, making phones more durable and easier to carry around. While CFRP is still an option, it looks like Samsung will eventually go with titanium.

In May, it was revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold6 Slim might not support the S Pen. The use of a titanium back material could be the reason for this. Titanium could affect the digitizer that allows the stylus to function properly.
