iPhone finally has the ability to record calls

The iOS 18 operating system introduced a new feature that caught Apple's attention.

At the recent Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple officially introduced the call recording feature on iOS 18 , attracting great interest from users and the technology world.

With iOS 18, users can easily record calls directly on the Phone app. Users will have an additional recording button in the call interface. Based on the image shared by Apple, when recording, the sound wave bar and recorded duration will be displayed. A special feature is that the system will automatically notify all parties participating in the call that the call is being recorded, ensuring transparency and respect for privacy.

Not only recording, iOS 18 also allows converting call content into text and summarizing key points thanks to a new AI system called "Apple Intelligence". This feature promises to bring many conveniences to users, especially journalists, lawyers and those who regularly need to record and analyze call content.

However, the feature currently only supports languages such as English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, and Portuguese.

Apple emphasizes protecting user privacy when using the call recording feature. All information related to the call will be kept confidential and only users will have access to recordings and summaries.

Besides the call recording feature, iOS 18 also brings many other notable improvements such as a custom home page, changes to the Control Center, improved response to the Tapback feature,... All promise to bring a better and more convenient user experience.
