At the end of March, Microsoft introduced a new generation two-in-one computer model called Surface Pro 10. After a month, this product was brought to the Vietnamese market via the portable route.
The overall appearance of Surface Pro 10 remains the same as its predecessor. The back is finished with a rough metal surface, helping to limit sweat and fingerprints during use. Meanwhile, the side edges are slightly curved, providing a quite comfortable holding feeling.
Surface Pro 10 is equipped with a 13-inch touch-enabled PixelSense Flow screen, 2,880 x 1,920 pixel resolution, 3:2 ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. This screen has 33% higher brightness than its predecessor, making it easy for users to use outdoors. The drawback is that the top and bottom edges of the device are still relatively thick.
Surface Pro 10 was also introduced with a new keyboard, integrating the Copilot smart assistant access key. This is considered one of the biggest changes that Microsoft has made to Windows computers in the past 30 years. This key allows users to quickly access and interact with the AI chatbot developed by the company. Additionally, Surface Pro 10 remains compatible with the keyboards of previous Surface devices.
The right side has only the Surface Connect charging port, while the power key and volume up and down keys are arranged on the top edge. The heat sink is also arranged around the body similar to the previous version.
The left side of the device has two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports. Users can also use this USB-C port to charge the device. The drawback is that this model is not equipped with an HDMI port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Users will need to use some additional accessories to expand the ability to connect peripheral devices.
Behind the stand area, Microsoft arranges an SSD slot to help users easily upgrade the device's memory capacity.
The top edge contains the front camera and face unlock system. Surface Pro 10's front camera has been upgraded to 1440p resolution, providing sharp quality and realistic colors. Microsoft also integrates AI on this camera system, helping users to separate faces and blur the background when making video calls. Meanwhile, the rear camera has a resolution of 10.5MP, supports 4K video recording.
Surface Pro 10 integrates an Intel Core Ultra 5 135U or Core Ultra 7 165U processor, combining Intel AI Boost NPU and Intel Graphics GPU. This is considered the most valuable upgrade on Surface Pro 10, helping to increase processing performance as well as improve battery life.
The charger that comes with the device is relatively compact in size and has a capacity of 39W, supporting a full charge of 80% of the battery capacity in about an hour.
Surface Pro 10 standard version (Intel Core Ultra 5 chip, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD) is being offered for sale at a price of 39.9 million VND. According to Mr. Dinh Hien, CEO of SurfaceCity system, the number of Surface Pro 10 products brought to Vietnam in the beginning was quite small, so the selling price was relatively high. Depending on supply and user demand, product prices may fluctuate in the near future.
