The consumer electronics exhibition - CES 2024 is bringing a "wave" of new laptops, new CPUs and interesting technology. So what products should tech enthusiasts keep an eye on?
Here are Laptop Mag reviewers' favorite laptops at CES 2024.
1. MSI Claw
In fact, this is a gaming handheld! The device runs the Windows operating system, has an Intel Core Ultra processor. The product has a 7-inch touch screen, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at 120Hz refresh rate along with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM.
The MSI Claw also has a larger battery than the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go. Notably, the device also has a proprietary dock that connects to the TV like the Nintendo Switch.
MSI Claw is expected to surpass its competitors in design, battery life, performance and software.
2. Alienware m16 R2

Although the Alienware m16 R2 has a slim design, it is still equipped with an Intel Ultra 7 or 9 CPU, Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU graphics, 64GB RAM and 8TB SSD storage via dual 4TB PCIe M.2 NVMe.
Next, the device is also equipped with a large 16-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 240Hz with a response time of 3ms. Additionally, the laptop features Alienware's new Stealth Mode, which can turn off RGB lighting with a simple click.
The laptop was just launched on January 11 for 1,649 USD (equivalent to 40.26 million VND).
3. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid is one of the most impressive 2-in-1 laptops available today. In fact, this is a PC running Windows 11 when attached to the keyboard, but when removed, the screen becomes an Android tablet.
The tablet itself has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor with Qualcomm Adreno GPU, 12GB RAM, and 256GB UFS3.1 internal storage. However, the keyboard (or Hybrid Station) has an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU with Intel Arc GPU, 32GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. The tablet alone has a 38Whr battery while the Hybrid Station has a 75Whr battery.
4. LG gram Pro
LG has just launched a new gram version called LG gram Pro - which has an extremely thin design and can perform flip operations. And of course, Lenovo laptops also boast Intel's AI Boost along with new Intel Core Ultra processors.
The LG gram Pro 2-in-1 is the world's lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 laptop and has achieved a Guinness World Record at only 3.1 pounds (about 1.4kg). Inside the machine is an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD and a 16-inch OLED screen, 2.8K+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 400 nit brightness.
This is a great configuration for a laptop. Users won't find a more impressive 16-inch ultraportable 2-in-1 laptop than the LG laptop.
5. HP Specter x360 2 in 1
HP's latest laptop is a sleek premium notebook with a stunning display and gaming GPU.
The HP Specter x360 weighs 4.3 pounds (about 1.95kg) with a 16-inch, 2.8K resolution OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering this machine is an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU (6GB VRAM), 32GB RAM and 2TB SSD.
This is a great choice for those who need to edit images/videos or gamers who need a professional laptop.
